Ok so for most of you this isn't really big news cause everyone knows except for the McCollaums but I have some huge news! So everyone knows that David got baptized and stuff in Sept. so he was in an interview with his (now old since he moved) Bishop and he mentioned something that took both David and I by surprise. I had never heard of a Bishop counseling what he just had so we decided that I needed to check with my Bishop and see what he said, and sure enough both Bishops seemed to have the same idea. So now that your all on the edge of you seats trying to figure out what this counsel was...

da da dahhhhh!

I'm getting married January 1, 2010!!

The Bishops both seemed to think that since he's baptized and he's well on his way to becoming a great priesthood leader and since we both intend to be married in the temple eventually we should just get married. We will be getting married in Utah because most of my family is already here and Davids family is kinda scattered all over at the moment lol. Then once David has been a member for a year we can both enter into those temple covenants and be sealed for all time and eternity. Which will probably be happening once he's finished advanced so that we can come out to Utah for the sealing (so like maybe next Thanksgiving of Christmas).

Once we're married I will be moving to Oklahoma (I can't spell it without thinking of the musical :P haha) in a small town called Enid where David will be continuing his flight training at Vance Air force base. We think we'll be living on base and he's estimated graduation date from Primary is some time at the end of June. We're hoping that I will be able to find a job for that short time and I have better chances than before because they have a program where on base they help the spouses find jobs. Since my last job will have been a call center type job (and according to my "Predictive Index" results I'm well suited for that) I'll most likely get a job where I can answer peoples questions all day, that's what David thinks at least. From there, depending on what platform he gets, we'll be moving again and we hope it will be to Corpus Cristi Texas.

As I said before this is mostly for the benefit for my long lost relatives in Italy since they are so hard to get a hold of on Skype and now Facebook as well. Also I though it might be a good idea to update my blog since that hasn't been done for a while now... :P

So ya I guess here's some pictures of the future married peeps :) and I hope everyone is doing well!
Love you all,
Lindsey
