I am unique. I’ve lived most of my life knowing that I don’t follow the general flow of others. I’ve come to realize that my way of thinking is not that of what my parents, teachers, and even peers want me to think. My approach on things is very different from that of the average teenager. I’ve always rationalized my incompetence in meeting certain requirements to be my lack of enthusiasm or motivation, but more than once has the thought of my intelligence crossed my mind as reason and/or cause. I have beautiful features about me, but lack the self-esteem to be able to become anything great.
I like learning. To be able to understand how and why things work, and then to be able to explain to others with intelligent but understandable words is an amazing thing. Going into the minds of others to catch a glimpse of how they perceive the world and reading the many dreams, hopes, beliefs, and knowledge is an exciting voyage. I like being independent and knowing things for myself, but I like to have support, help, and others thoughts as well. I like observing things around me, and little details. I like the feelings of accomplishment and the relief of honesty. I like being able to express myself appropriately and I like attention for good things.
I believe we all have to potential to become great. I believe that I will never fully understand everything I want to. I believe that everything is connected together and that it is important for us to know as much as we can. Knowledge is one of the most important tools in life, if not the most important. With that tool, mankind will succeed. If one puts forth the time, effort, persistence and sacrifice needed, then one is bound to become great.
I dislike assumptions. The world is too quick to make judgments that effect decisions. If we become so hasty that we can’t take the time to get to know people, then all the knowledge, persistence, dreaming, and hard work comes to nothing. If we can’t take time to look carefully, then some Einstein might lose confidence or ability to do great and wonderful things.
I plan to continue in life to the best of my ability. Even if I feel I am not capable of doing things, life goes on. Often times we hear the saying, “It’s the thought that counts.” I plan to make my thoughts into actions so that it truly does count. I can achieve success if I try instead of just thinking. I plan to take full responsibility for any of my actions and make them better if I have to. I plan to have a happy family, raise children, and provide them with love, care, knowledge, and anything else they might need. I plan to further my education both through college and personal study.
I dream of satisfaction. Traveling different places, learning new things, feeling many emotions, experiencing necessary achievements, and enjoying life. To be a skilled scholar and be an accomplished musician, to have the attitude of completeness and gratification for the knowledge I thirst for is what will bring me satisfaction.
I have independent and different ideas and philosophies. I am an individual.

:) Good job, Linny.
That is awesome Linny! I love it! Keep going with this awesomeness!! :D
Great personal philosophy! I'm trying to develop a new one for myself...don't let one more wasted minute go by! I spend too much time procrastinating what I know I need to do and then don't do the fun things in life because I was taught to get my work done first! From now on, I'm having no more wasted days in Italy... Do you ever get to the end of the day and realize that you were just waiting for the end of the day all day?
YOU. Are super cool!
